Architecture design & review
An architecture mistake doesn't show up on day one. It shows up six months later, when adding a simple feature takes weeks because the system wasn't built to grow that way.
This service covers two distinct moments:
Before building: we design the architecture of a new system. What components exist, how they talk to each other (synchronous via APIs, asynchronous via events with Kafka), what database and why, and what each decision costs in scalability and in money. The result is a document your team can execute, not an idea in our heads.
On an existing system: we review production architectures to find real bottlenecks, the technical debt that actually matters versus the debt that can wait, and scalability risks before they turn into an incident. It's especially useful before a funding round, an external audit, or a large migration.
We start by reading the code, not by listening to how it's supposed to work. Then we follow the path of what breaks, talk to whoever built it, and only then write the plan.
We don't replace your team: we add an outside read, built on systems that can't afford to fail — real-time tracking for a satellite fleet, high-traffic platforms wired into legacy systems.
And we don't take the work when the solution is already decided and what's needed is hands. There are better options than us for that.
Got an important architecture decision to make, or a system that no longer scales well? Let's talk.
