Java tutoring
We give 1:1 Java tutoring. The focus isn't syntax: it's how Java gets written in a system that serves real users, and that someone will have to maintain next year.
That shows up in concrete things. An exception that tells you what happened, instead of a NullPointerException at three in the morning. A test that fails when the business rule changes, not when a method gets renamed. A class you can read end to end without opening four others.
Sessions adapt to where you are today:
- Starting out: language fundamentals and object orientation applied to a problem of yours, not to an example about talking animals. Good practices from day one, so you don't have to unlearn them later.
- Already writing Java: Spring and Spring Boot, tests worth what they cost, concurrency, and the architecture decisions that hold a backend together as it grows.
- Preparing for a technical interview: focused practice on the topics where people most often stumble in real processes.
Each session is 1:1 and there's no fixed syllabus. Before the first one we ask what you're working on and what's giving you trouble; the plan comes out of that.
One thing we don't do: promise you'll learn Java in a month. It depends on how much you practice between sessions, and we'll tell you that up front.
