Scalable Microservices for IntelliCentrics' HealthTech Platform
Impact
Designed and delivered scalable microservices following distributed systems best practices, mentoring a cross-functional Scrum team on coding standards and architectural decisions.
Between September 2021 and September 2022 I worked as Capability Lead / Full Stack Engineer at IntelliCentrics, a HealthTech platform for healthcare vendor credentialing and compliance.
I led the design and development of scalable microservices using Java EE 8 and Spring Boot, following distributed systems best practices, and delivered features across web and mobile platforms, including React.js, Angular 8, React Native, Swift/iOS, and Kotlin.
I oversaw DevOps workflows using GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes to strengthen CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices, and implemented Kafka and RabbitMQ messaging for inter-service communication, with Redis for caching across microservices.
I applied Test-Driven Development with JUnit 5 and Mockito to improve reliability and maintainability, and mentored developers while collaborating with cross-functional Scrum teams on coding standards, delivery, and architectural decisions.
